Work With Us
Working Together to Create Understanding
We work with schools, nurseries, libraries, family hubs, SEN settings, community groups and local organisations that want to promote inclusion and understanding through storytelling.
Whether it’s a school visit, workshop, awareness event or community partnership, we aim to create calm, engaging experiences that help children feel seen, supported and included.
Our work is shaped by lived experience, a background supporting children with special educational needs, and a belief that every child deserves to feel understood, regardless of how they communicate or experience the world.aretra massa massa.

Why it matters
Building understanding through stories, lived experience and inclusion
Different Not Less Project CIC was created to help children feel seen, understood and included through storytelling that reflects real experiences.
Founded by author and dad of four Robbie Barnes, the project was inspired by raising an autistic child and years of supporting children with special educational needs. Too many families still struggle to find books, workshops and resources that represent communication differences, sensory needs and everyday family life in a calm, honest and relatable way.
Through books, school sessions and community partnerships, we aim to create safe spaces where children can learn empathy, celebrate differences and understand that being different never means being less.
